You’ll find hours of free content. It's best to be intentional—follow a few consistent channels instead of jumping around randomly. Some of my favorite YouTubers are: Vaporetto Italiano, Italiano Automatico, Learn Italian With Ines, Coffee Break Italian, Italian With Davide, Italy Made Easy...and so many more.

Best for: Budget learners and beginners building foundational skills to advanced learners.

5. Italian Podcasts for Daily Exposure

Podcasts are incredibly effective for passive learning and for strengthening your listening skills.

Three of my favorites are:

• Vaporetto Italiano – Clear, well-paced Italian that helps build listening confidence.

• Italiano Bello – Friendly, slow, understandable content perfect for beginners and intermediates.

• Italiano Con Amore - Interesting stories about Italy, culture, food, etc.

You may have noticed that I mentioned Vaporetto Italiano twice. That's because Francesco is my all-time favorite. He was the very first online Italian teacher I started following all those years ago, before I could barely say a few words and understood practically nothing! I recently purchased his B1 and B2 Italian self-paced online courses, and I certainly recommend both.

Podcasts are a great language learning tool. You can listen while walking, driving, cleaning, or falling asleep. Even if you don’t understand everything at first, your ear starts to adapt to the rhythm and pronunciation. I swear by listening. The more you listen, the more you start to understand.

6. Netflix Movies and Series in Italian

This is where learning gets fun. Watching Italian movies and series on Netflix is one of the best ways to absorb real-world language.
